THURAYA TRAVELER SIM (Prepaid)

The Traveler SIM that is aimed to satisfy the requirement of traveler who need to use Thuraya services for a limited period of time during their presence in remote, underserved areas. It provides the customer with a low cost SIM card for his/her short travel, without having to pay for the more expensive Super SIM card. It is a prepaid system only, preloaded with $25 of free credit (versus $10 on the Super SIM). It has a short, non-extendable lifetime: one month from the first call. It can be refilled through the established refilling mechanisms (scratch cards, on-line refill or SMS). It is a throw-away card that does not have to be returned, like the Super SIM.

Rates: Thuraya-to-Thuraya: $0.95/minute. Any other destination: $1.50/minute. Data/fax call charges: $0.56/minute higher than above charges. SMS charges: $0.50.
